Hey, can anyone remember what we did yesterday?

imageimageThe highlights are piling up one after another and just as soon as something has taken our breath away there’s another experience throwing itself at us just around the next corner.
Like that tasteful hotel and delightful pool area in Bodrum, for instance (recommended – Marina Vista Hotel, Bodrum). Or last night’s delectable seafood meal in Fethiye, adjacent to a market and in the middle of tables and tables of locals enjoying their meals and also their local league football on screens. Interesting thing was that they were not at all rowdy; just plain good fun and enjoyment. And I loved the raki!
We couldn’t stop taking photos at this morning’s Kaya Koy “Ghost Town” and we found the separation history here fascinating.
And that swim today in the Mediterranean at Oludeniz beach was just the relaxing balance we needed at this stage of the group tour.
Personalised meal organised tonight as we wind back up the mountain to Kaya Koy. And I’m having more raki.

I’ve enjoyed keeping up with your trip and photos – in between painting and building my deck/pergola! Gerry

    • Bruce & Thea. We now know why you raved about this place so much. What a contrast you would have found to your Egypt tour. Bon voyage for Japan! Cheers, Alex.
