Amalfi coast.

May 18, 2015

I am now going to write about the Amalfi Coast and I am not going to use any cliches.

Oh sure! As if! Can’t be done, so let’s just get the cliches out of the way now: ancient ruins of Pompeii; charming village of Anacapri on the island of Capri; twisting, winding, scenic drive; Maiori, Positano, Ravello, Amalfi dramatic coastline; hugging the cliffs; picturesque villages.

Just one tip to add here. See it all not just by road, but make sure that you include the ferry as well. The Amalfi coast is a thing of beauty and more than deserves a viewing from both road and sea.

By the way, in the middle of all this excitement, how beautiful that we were also celebrating tour group member Paul Perrone’s Seventieth Birthday.
