Often, in this travel blog, words just get in the way and you just have to let the pictures do the talking.

However, some words of explanation do help:

When we reached the North Cape, just outside Honningsvag, Norway, we knew we were 71 degrees North – the most north most of us had ever been.

At the Artico Ice Bar, everything – including our drinking glasses – was made of pure ice and it was so cold in there (minus 5 degrees), you get decked out in a silver arctic coat at the entrance. It takes 14 workers 40 days to build a new ice bar every year.

Janine is always telling us to wear layers……don’t think there was anything left in her suitcase yesterday as she had layer …upon layer… upon layer …upon layer… upon layer…and probably another layer!!

Oh those Northern lights. You lucky lot. I guess a bucket list item for many. Wonderful to be following your adventures. Keep the pics and words coming. Thanks for sharing. Love especially to Lynn and Julia. Black Rock is missing you with sheer envy. (XO)
