Recommended hotel in Rome that won’t break your budget. We asked for too much, and we got it.

March 28, 2017

We asked for too much…and we got it. This was only a two-night stay in Rome. What we wanted was a hotel close to Termini Station so that it would only be a short walk with luggage after the long flight into Fiumicino airport. We knew the hotel would therefore be centrally located. We wanted the hotel to have some charm about it and to be…well, typically Roman. And we didn’t want it to be a budget-breaker this early on in the trip.

We got it. The room was small, but clean with a good bed. The lobby, lounge areas, lounges, bar and restaurant etc. are wonderful. Full of Roman history and charm. Great places for that first Happy Hour drink.

RECOMMENDED: Hotel Quirinale, Via Nationale 7, 00184 Rome, Italy.
